Alibaba fully acquire Ele.me in $9.5 billion deal

阿里巴巴集团4月2日宣布，联合蚂蚁金服集团以95亿美元对国内知名餐饮O2O公司“饿了么”完成全资收购。

April 2, Alibaba said it will acquire all outstanding shares in Shanghai-based Ele.me, the leading online delivery food delivery platform in China.

“饿了么”外卖服务将与口碑到店服务一起，为阿里生态拓展全新的本地生活服务领域，完成从新零售走向新消费的重要一步.

The ecommerce giant aims to fully integrate the food delivery platform into its ecosystem and further expand its push for the New Retail strategy.

美团以换股+现金方式收购摩拜单车：维持品牌独立

Meituan-Dianping has snapped up Mobike in a deal

4月4日，美团与摩拜联合宣布，已经签署美团全资收购摩拜的协议。

Meituan-Dianping has snapped up Mobike in a deal ，which gives Mobike an enterprise value of around $2.7 billion.

通过此次收购，美团携手摩拜为用户提供全场景消费体验，共同践行“让大家吃得更好、生活更好”的使命。交易完成后，摩拜单车将保持品牌和运营的独立。

The two companies confirmed the acquisition on Wednesday in a joint statement, saying they would be in a better position to fulfill their mission of making people “eat better and live better”.

Apple hires Google’s former AI boss to help improve Siri

4月4日消息，苹果公司今日宣布，昨日离职的谷歌前搜索兼AI高级副总裁John Giannandrea（约翰·詹南德雷）已经加入苹果。

According to the media, Apple has hired Google’s chief of search and artificial intelligence, John Giannandrea.

他将担任“机器学习及人工智能战略”总负责人，成为苹果第16位核心管理层高管，直接向CEO库克汇报。

Mr. Giannandrea will run Apple’s “machine learning and A.I. strategy,” and become one of 16 executives who report directly to Apple’s chief executive, Timothy D. Cook.
